VR - AR - BIM - Laser Scanning

These new technologies are the cutting edge of emerging technology in construction. They are all related to BIM (Building Information Modeling) which is a process that allows for conflict planning, scheduling, budgeting and more by taking 2D plans and converting them to 3D models that can be observed on the computer, in virtual reality with devices like the Oculus or in augmented reality with devices like the HoloLens. Through my many hobbies involving computers I have learned a lot about this new technology and hope to implement it whenever possible.
